Stephen Churchett was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Churchett started off his acting career mostly in film roles, appearing in "A Bridge Too Far" (1977) with Dirk Bogarde, "Number One" (1984) and "Bellman and True" (1988) with Bernard Hill. He also appeared in the John Malkovich comedy "The Object of Beauty" (1991). He also appeared in the TV movie "Florence Nightingale" (NBC, 1984-85). He continued to act in productions like the comedic drama "Secrets & Lies" (1996) with Timothy Spall. His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Scarlet Pimpernel" (1998-99). He also worked in television around this time, including a part on "The House of Eliott" (1992). In addition to his writing, Churchett also appeared in "The Cazalets" (PBS, 2001-02). Most recently, Churchett acted on "Law & Order: UK" (BBC, 2008-2013).
